1. Controller

2. Access data / server logs

When this website is accessed, our server automatically processes technical access data (in particular IP address, date and time, page requested, user agent) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website). The logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

3. Contact form

If you use our contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally company, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the efficient handling of enquiries). The data is transmitted to us by email and deleted as soon as it is no longer required for handling your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Appointment booking (Calendly)

On our contact page you can book an appointment via the service Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). The calendar is loaded only after your explicit click; only then is data (including your IP address) transferred to Calendly. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Details: Calendly Privacy Notice. The transfer to the USA is based on your consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR); insofar as Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the transfer is additionally based on that framework. The loading of the calendar also relies on § 25(1) of the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Once loaded, Calendly may set its own cookies.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. Fonts are served locally from our own server; no connection is made to Google Fonts or other font CDNs. Your colour scheme setting is stored exclusively in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to us.

6. Hosting and email delivery (processors)

This website runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany. Email delivery and receipt (including messages from the contact form) is handled by IONOS SE, Montabaur, Germany. Both providers process personal data (in particular IP addresses and the contents of contact enquiries) on our behalf in data centres in the European Union, on the basis of data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website).

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Right to object: you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
